Wild Oats

Wild Oats is a 53,000 square feet building located on a 5 acre site. The project was a strong, successful combination of creative building design, high quality finishing and energy efficient systems to provide timeless solutions for today's retail. Unique design features include: Entry features to increase store visibility, structural block wall features of interesting patterns and colors, custom light fixtures and lamp posts to create night time excitement and activity opportunity. Building features include: clear-story windows and 16' high storefront for day lighting of natural and organic products. Energy efficient HVAC, refrigeration, and heat reclaim systems exceed Washington state energy codes. Wild Oats day lighting decreases lighting requirements. Tinted low e glazing reduces heat gain from west facing storefront while admitting natural light into shops. The retail project includes a complete turnkey for Wild Oats. The entire award-winning project was completed on time while mitigating through design and tenant criteria changes.
